A rather melancholy event happened tonight, which explains my title. In one of those curious coincidences of life, writing about said event happened to take up the very last page in my current journal. Guess it’s time to take the next one off the shelf and begin anew in more ways than one.

I’m still in “neutral” with my photography, so below are more photos from pointing my camera at the random world around me the last few months. I’m stuck in SoCal for the near future, but 2014 should see me around the globe a few times. I promise that my award winning (not really) photography and sense of humor (definitely not really) will return at some point. Stay tuned.
(Get it? It’s a “tal” tree. You know, like “tall?” Yes, as a matter of fact I do feel bad for making that joke.)
