Try setting your WB to “cloudy” to pull out more red, and then increasing the blue/green saturation in your camera just a touch. That can sometimes help make a gray day at the ocean look more “sun setty”.

This was at the Cliffs in HB, just before you hit the Bolsa Chica wetlands.

The last one is my favorite! The last 3 times I tried to shoot the beach at sunset an entire blanket of thick gray clouds rolled in and blocked out any possible pretty light. No clouds all summer long, except when I try to hit the beach. The sun hates me, we’re not friends. Which beach did you go to?
