Help Me!

I need your help!  I have a few projects and skill sets that I want to work on, and need assistance putting them together. Below is a list of current needs. If you can help me with any of them, please contact me.

100 portraits in 100 days

My current project is 100 portraits in 100 days. If you’d be willing to sit/stand for me, I’d greatly appreciate the help. The purpose of the project isn’t so much to show off the personalities or hobbies of specific individuals, but rather to tell a larger human story through the sheer scale of so many simple portraits. Not all of the portraits need to be this straight-forward, but here are some samples:

Groups with stories

I’ve lately been feeling a strong pull towards photojournalism, and would really like to do a series on individuals who are unable to tell their own stories. In particular, working with the homeless, runaways, injured vets, the mentally ill, or battered women/children would be high on my list. If you have access to facilities or networks that support individuals like these, please let me know! My intent is not to be exploitative, but instead to help bring change in a world that needs it.

General skills

I’m looking for opportunities in boudoir, sports, and social photography.

For the boudoir work, nudity is most definitely not a requirement. I just need more practice telling a decidedly feminine story, which can come in a number of different forms.

For sports, I would like to get shots of unusually photographed sports, or unusual shots of frequently photographed sports. Think chase shoots with bicycle/motorcycle riders, overheads of skaters, that sort of thing.

For social photography, I’d like to mix it up with the public at events in sort of a documentary manner. Whether it be a funeral, car shows, or Khmer New Year, I am looking to find stories amongst the stories. If you’re organizing anything, please let me know.
