2009: Year in Review

Location: All over the place. Subjects: everything.
Since everyone else on the web does an end of year retrospective, I figured I might as well also. 2009 has been a good photographic year for me. I don’t know that I’m a particularly good photographer yet, but I feel as though I got to another level of skill by the time this year ended. I’m hopeful that 2010 will be when everything comes together. I’ve got a lot of traveling planned, and am looking to push the envelope with lighting and edginess (for me, anyways).
The photos below aren’t necessarily my favorites from the past year (though some are), but they’re ones that stood out for some reason when looking for stuff to post. At the bottom of each large photo is (usually) a description with more details on why I may have liked a shot.
